Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage company accounting tasks, reporting to the General Manager, Financial Controller, and Group Accountant.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and accrual-based accounting reports.
• Maintain Accounts Payable and Receivable, ensuring compliance with VAS, tax regulations, and IFRS.
• Coordinate with external parties for audits, tax returns, and compliance.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management.
• Liaise with banks and auditors, ensuring smooth financial operations.
• Oversee payroll, ensuring timely staff wage payments.
• Supervise finance staff and conduct performance appraisals.
• Manage cash flow, verifying purchases and payments.
• Provide KPI reports and financial analysis on inventory, debtors, creditors, and expenses.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with internal control processes and ERP system management.
• Oversee debtors and creditors, ensuring timely payments and invoice processing.
• Maintain company secretarial duties, including taxation and insurance policies.
• Optimize ERP usage, ensuring accuracy, security, and process improvements.
• Perform other finance and administrative duties as required.
Job Requirements
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in English, cost and manufacturing experience preferred.
• Acquire Chief Accountant Certification
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Experience with ERP is an advantage.
